Chris Farr
11U Head Coach
Coach Chris has coached flag football for six years, four on the recreation level and two with Focus Elite. While being with Focus, he and his team have won one tournament and finished runner up in three others, including the 2023 AFFL World Championships in Disney. Seeing his boys on ESPN is one of the most prideful moments of his coaching career! He has also coached one season of tackle football with the Leonardtown Wildcats and one season of hockey with the Southern Maryland Sabres.
Coaching is his absolute passion. Sports made such an impact on Chris’ life, his development, and provided a foundation for many aspects of his life. To be able to pass those virtues, characteristics, and values that sports instilled in him along to young athletes developing into adults is truly a blessing and an honor.
He is a Leonardtown High School Alum, where he played football and basketball all four years and ran track for two years. He also has 22 years of experience with the Federal Government. He currently works full-time and attended college full-time, where he received a Bachelor’s Degree from UMGC.
He LOVES SPORTS! Coach Chris is an avid fan of all D.C. sports. The Washington Commanders hold the top spot in his heart, but the Capitals, Nationals, and Wizards surely follow closely. He loves the water, including boating, fishing, crabbing, and/or just docking on a sandbar! So when he is not coaching, that’s where he likes to be…
